The Happy Camp Coordinating Council needs your help. Due to the Happy Camp Complex Fires, the 2014 Bigfoot Jamboree suffered from limited attendance and cancelled events. Many patrons were unable to attend the festivities because of the poor air quality due to smoke and road closures associated with the fire along Highway 96. We were forced to cancel several events, including our Softball Tournament, Lawn Mower Races, and one of our Band Performances. As a result, our fundraising efforts during the last Bigfoot Jamboree didn't produce what we need to fund the 2015 Bigfoot Jamboree.
The Council is working hard to make sure events and activities can continue at this year's Bigfoot Jamboree. On March 7th we held a Big Money Bingo fundraiser at the Grange Hall in Happy Camp. The large community turnout and hard work of the council allowed us to make a profit of almost $2000. Thank you! Our Sponsors have surprised us yet again with their generous support contributions. We even acquired a new Sponsorship from Seven Feathers Casino Resort. These sponsorships allow us to host wonderful events like Kids Day at the Park and the Karaoke Contest. We also want to thank our Advertisers, their continued support has been wonderful.
