The Happy Camp Coordinating Council is proud to announce our 51st Anniversary Bigfoot Jamboree Parade Theme. The council reviewed all suggestions for this year's theme; we want to thank everyone who contributed. On Sunday, September 3rd please come to Happy Camp, California to see floats inspired by "TV Cartoons of Today and Yesterday!"
This year the parade will have 2 categories: Float (Defined as a trailer towed by a vehicle with decorations) and Non-Float (Defined as a vehicle without a trailer, undecorated entries, persons walking, animals, etc.). 1st place in the Float Category will be awarded $250 with a trophy and 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded trophies. The Non-Float Category awards will be a 1st place trophy and 2nd and 3rd will be awarded ribbons! Don't miss the very special 51st Anniversary Sunday Parade on September 3rd at 11am. Bring the whole family for this wonderful event, a parade through the center of Happy Camp, CA!

I'm really excited for this parade. I'm sure that a lot of people are going to be attending this event. It seems very fun and joyful. The kids will love the theme and I'm sure that they'll have prepared costumes for it. I'll be marking up my calendar and will be preparing my own costume as well.
