The Happy Camp Coordinating Council is excited to introduce a new event this year! Bigfoot's Got Talent: Youth Talent Show on Saturday, September 2nd! This event will encourage youth of all ages to perform in front of a panel of judges for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! Youth can sing, dance, play an instrument, perform comedy and more!
Contestants will be broken into two different Divisions! The Junior Division will be for youth 12 and under and the Senior Division will be for youth ages 13-18.

The Happy Camp Coordinating Council is proud to announce our 51st Anniversary Bigfoot Jamboree Parade Theme. The council reviewed all suggestions for this year's theme; we want to thank everyone who contributed. On Sunday, September 3rd please come to Happy Camp, California to see floats inspired by "TV Cartoons of Today and Yesterday!"
This year the parade will have 2 categories: Float (Defined as a trailer towed by a vehicle with decorations) and Non-Float (Defined as a vehicle without a trailer, undecorated entries, persons walking, animals, etc.). 1st place in the Float Category will be awarded $250 with a trophy and 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded trophies. The Non-Float Category awards will be a 1st place trophy and 2nd and 3rd will be awarded ribbons!
Don't miss the very special 51st Anniversary Sunday Parade on September 3rd at 11am. Bring the whole family for this wonderful event, a parade through the center of Happy Camp, CA!
Get ready to play ball this Labor Day Weekend at the 2017 Bigfoot Jamboree! This year's Co-Ed Mushball Tournament will begin on Friday night and go through to the finals on Sunday. Tournament will be played on the Gail Zink Memorial Baseball Field. To register contact Tamara Barnett at 530-598-2899. Entry fees are $200 per team. Awards for 1st Place, MVP and All-Tourney!

The Happy Camp Coordinating Council will be holding their Post-Bigfoot Jamboree wrap up meeting on Tuesday, September 20th at 5:15pm at the KCDC building on Jacobs Way. We are inviting all interested community members to attend the meeting if they want to provide feedback, express an interest in joining the Council or help with an event. This will be the last meeting in 2016. Meetings will restart in February of 2017. Our council is asking for help, we are too small with only 5 members. Any support or help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Big Fun Circus will be here Sunday, September 4th at 12:30pm for Tots Sunday Fun Day. Little Kids ages 2-6 can come to the River Park (Next to the Pavilion) after the Parade to play! IT's FREE! There will be stilt walkers (watch for them in the Parade too!), Face Painting, Balloon Twisting, Tunnels, Music, Slides and more!!! Bigfoot Jamboree is a 3-day festival in Happy Camp, California. This annual event takes place at the H.C. River Park every Labor Day Weekend.
